[foto] Verlaten slachthuizen, verdronken dorp en de pampa

Back in the twentieth century, Villa Lago Epecuén was a touristic village at a lake in the province of Buenos Aires. Due to heavy rainfalls in 1985, the village was inundated by the salty waters of Lake Epecuén, reaching 10m high. When water withdrew, a spooky town arose.

In the flat province of Buenos Aires, a few towers arise. It are slaughterhouses in decay, designed by the architect Salamone, who was inspired by fascist architecture (nice website, Spanish only).
